PageFix AI API Setup – Connect OpenAI and Google Gemini

This guide explains how to connect OpenAI or Google Gemini to PageFix AI. You need an API key to generate product descriptions, SEO content, and keywords.

The setup process takes only a few minutes and does not require coding.

Why API Setup Is Required

PageFix AI uses external AI providers to generate content. Without an API connection, the plugin cannot create product descriptions or SEO content.

You can choose between OpenAI and Google Gemini depending on your needs.

Option 1 – OpenAI Setup

Step 1 – Create OpenAI Account

• Go to https://platform.openai.com
• Create an account or log in

Step 2 – Generate API Key

• Open the API Keys section
• Create a new API key
• Copy the key

Step 3 – Add API Key to PageFix AI

• Open PageFix AI settings
• Select OpenAI as provider
• Paste your API key
• Save settings

Option 2 – Google Gemini Setup

Step 1 – Open Google AI Studio

• Go to https://ai.google.dev
• Sign in with your Google account

Step 2 – Create API Key

• Generate a new API key
• Copy the key

Step 3 – Add API Key to PageFix AI

• Open PageFix AI settings
• Select Gemini as provider
• Paste your API key
• Save settings

Test API Connection

PageFix AI includes a built-in test function. Always test your API before generating content.

• Click “Test API Connection”
• Check if the response is successful

• OpenAI: strong text quality and consistency
